The NeoGraft hair transplant machine automates follicular unit extraction (FUE), reducing the cost and the time required for the procedure. NeoGraft FUE hair transplant surgery is typically less invasive with fewer potential complications than the traditional STRIP method. Although rare, some possible complications associated with NeoGraft include bleeding, scarring, and blood vessels or nerve damage.

Patients may feel some discomfort from the injection of local anesthesia and some (often minimal) discomfort following surgery. Pain medication may be prescribed if necessary.

Although individual results will vary, the newly transplanted hair follicles typically begin to grow new hair within three to five months of the procedure.
