Our policies are designed to provide structure for our facility so that we can provide excellent services and ensure that all clients receive the same quality service and treatment.

General Policies

Cell Phones
To preserve our tranquil environment, we ask that clients refrain from speaking on cell phones within the spa. Additionally, for our client’s privacy, cell phones, cameras, and video recording devices should never be used to record the activity of another individual without their knowledge or consent. However, we encourage our clients to capture both photos and videos of their own Healing Waters experience for sharing on social media. Please tag @healingwaterslife and use the hashtag #healingwaterslife when posting.

Valuables
Lockers are provided to store personal items while at Healing Waters; however, we recommend leaving valuables at home. Healing Waters will not be held accountable for lost or stolen possessions.

Comfort
Your self-care experience is your time, and you should fully delight in it. Please tell your provider immediately if you experience discomfort due to room temperature, massage pressure, music volume, or any other condition. For the comfort of others, we ask that you are sensitive to robed clients in the Healing Waters Living Room and respect their privacy and quiet time.

Children
Parental consent is necessary for all clients under 18, and children aged 10 -17 are welcome to enjoy Self Care services at Healing Waters with a parent or guardian present.

Payment, Refunds, and Gift Cards

Forms of Payment Accepted
We accept all major credit cards for payment, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. All fees are due at the time of services. We do not accept cash for any service or retail transactions.

We also offer Care Credit and participate in industry loyalty programs like Alle.

Refunds
Clients are responsible for payments for services, supplies, and tests performed. No refund will be given once a service has been performed, or tests have been ordered. If a client needs more treatment to further results, this is at the client’s expense—no refunds on Gift Cards, no exceptions.

Return Policy
Any unused retail item may be returned within 30 days for a full refund with a purchase receipt. Any used retail item may be returned within 30 days for Healing Waters retail credit with a receipt of purchase. The refund or credit will be returned to the original form of payment.

Gift Cards
Gift cards are available in any denomination and may be purchased in-store or online. Electronic gift cards (e-cards) may be purchased and personalized through our website www.healingwaterslife.com and will be emailed to the recipient within 24 hours of submitting your order. Healing Waters gift cards may be used towards any Healing Waters service or product of choice. Upon redemption, the gift card will be applied for the registered dollar amount. Gift cards must be presented at the time of redemption. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash, and any unused amount will remain on the card. As gift cards are not redeemable for cash, they may not be used for gratuity. Healing Waters is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged cards or any unauthorized use. Gift cards expire 5 years from the date of purchase unless it is a bonus gift card, promotional gift card, or has no cash transaction. Printable e-gift cards purchased through our website are subject to all company gift card policies. Healing Waters is not responsible for your use of gift cards. Healing Waters gift cards are not redeemable on the Pure MD website or at Aesthetic & Plastic Surgery, PA. The purchase of a gift card is the acceptance of the terms and conditions. Gift cards are nonrefundable. No exceptions

Important Consumer Warning

ALWAYS PURCHASE GENUINE HEALING WATERS GIFT CARDS & PRODUCTS from a Healing Waters company only. Healingwaterslife.com is the only URL authorized to sell Healing Waters gift cards. Healing Waters Wichita, LC, or Healing Waters, LC, will not take any responsibility for the purchasers’ dissatisfaction. Healing Waters gift cards are only valid if registered through the Healing Waters Wichita, LC operating system.

Specials Offer or Discounted Packages
We offer seasonal packages, specials, and offers that often include a discount, gift, or limited-time benefit or offer. These have specific terms and conditions that are advertised with the offer and on our website.

We do not allow multiple stacking of coupons/discounts or Self Care points to be applied upon the same invoice if a discount has already been applied to the invoice.

Gratuity
In appreciation to the staff for outstanding services, gratuities may be given at your discretion. For parties of four or more, a 20% gratuity will be automatically charged to all services within the party. Gratuities may be paid to your provider through Healing Waters with a credit card only. Gift Cards, Care Credit, Self Care points, and third-party Loyalty programs may not be used to pay gratuities.

Reservations & Cancellations

Appointment Reservation Deposit Policy
We require a valid credit card, email address, and phone number at the time of booking to secure your appointment—no exceptions. If you no-show, cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment time, your credit card will be charged per the cancellation policy.

Our Flat Fee Cancellation and Rescheduling Program
At Healing Waters, we have a 24-hour Cancellation/No Show Policy to ensure clients can get in for appointments in a timely manner and respect our provider’s time. Any client that no-shows, cancels, or reschedules within 24 hours will have the following fee automatically charged to the credit card on file:

All Medical, Massage & Facial Appointments:

$50.00 for each treatment booked

Any ala cart spa treatments less than $50.00 will be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the treatment price.

We charge the same low fee, whether it’s a spontaneous weekend away or the flu bug.

If a client has been assessed a cancellation fee and we cannot capture the cancellation fee due to an invalid credit card, the client will be required to prepay in full for all future treatments at the time of booking the appointment. In this client situation, the prepaid amount will be nonrefundable if the no-show/cancellation policy is violated. However, if the appointment is rescheduled before 24 hours of the appointment, the amount paid will be credited to future treatments at Healing Waters.

We respect our provider’s time as they are booked out weeks to months ahead, and we have a significant waiting list. Unfortunately, last-minute cancellations only sometimes allow us time to fill the missed appointment opportunities. We appreciate your understanding of our cancellation/rescheduling policy. The policy enables the Waters Healing team to continue to provide the highest quality treatments for you and future patients and value our team’s time. You agree to our cancellation/rescheduling/no-show policy by scheduling an appointment.

Late Arrivals
If you arrive more than 10 minutes past the start of your scheduled time and we cannot accommodate your service, your appointment will be rescheduled, and the cancellation fee will be charged. When we can accommodate a late arrival, the footbath, if included in your spa services, will be omitted, and the full price of your treatment will be charged. As a courtesy to our next guest, treatment times are not extended based on late arrivals.

Medical Department Policies

Plastic Surgery Consultations and Procedures
While James Rieger, M.D. serves as the medical director of Healing Waters, and Healing Waters is glad to be able to provide you access to a board-certified plastic surgeon. James Rieger, M.D., is not an employee of Healing Waters. All consultations and procedures performed by James Rieger, M.D., even while on-site at Healing Waters, are through his independent medical practice, Aesthetic & Plastic Surgery, PA. By signing these policies, you acknowledge that Healing Waters is not responsible for any acts or omissions related to Aesthetic & Plastic Surgery, PA, or its owners or employees.

Patient Rights & Responsibilities

Patient Privacy Policy
Our Patient Privacy Policy tells you how we can use and disclose your health information. It also describes certain rights you have about your health information kept by us. Acknowledgment & Credit Card Authorization

By signing below, you authorize Healing Waters Wichita, LC to charge your credit card for the following reasons: Office visits, reservation fees, cancellations/no-show fees, and procedure deposits, lab, or treatment fees.

By signing below, you are saying that you have received our Patient Privacy Policy, also available on our website at HealingWatersLife.com/policies, which tells you how we can use and disclose your health information.

By signing below, you acknowledge that you have read this document and agree to abide by our office policies and fee schedules.
